Strategic Guidance for Exceptional Students
Joshua was born and raised in Klein, Texas, and earned his bachelor's degree in International Relations and Political Science at Boston University.
After graduation, he taught courses in politics, law, and economics at Yale University, served as an admissions reader for two nationally ranked universities, and worked with leading educational consulting firms, advising students and families on highly competitive admissions processes.
Since mid-2025, Joshua has served as Director of a prominent Ivy League admissions consulting firm in Manhattan, where he leads the strategic development of more than 100 high school students throughout the New York City area each year. While the majority of his work remains concentrated in New York, he continues to work with a select number of Texas families each year as part of a personal commitment to expanding opportunities for high-achieving students from his home state at the nation's most selective universities.
Our Method
Since 2019, we have worked closely with students to help them build strong academic profiles and clear personal trajectories.
Rather than approaching admissions as a last-minute process, we focus on developing a student’s direction over time. We curate our students' resumes through intentional course selection, meaningful extracurricular involvement, independent projects, research, leadership, and intellectual exploration. This allows applications to emerge naturally from years of thoughtful development rather than manufactured positioning.
Our admissions strategy is highly personalized and rooted in understanding each student as an individual: how they think, what motivates them, and where their strengths are best expressed. By combining tutoring, advising, and admissions guidance into a one continuous mentorship process, we help students submit applications that make them stand out.
